Tolstoy Mansion-Museum
Samara, Frunze St, 155b
A. N. Tolstoy's Museum-Residence is located in Samara at Frunze Street, 155B. It is a wooden two-story building clad with shingles where the writer last visited in 1936. The estate was purchased by Alexei Tolstoy's stepfather, Aleksey Bostrom, in 1899. Here, the Bostrom family lived in the second apartment on the second floor. In 1976, a literary-memorial museum was opened here with authentic memorial materials. Outbuildings of the estate have been restored within their historical boundaries.
