Kurloina Mansion, situated at Samara, Frunze St., 159, is an outstanding monument of Samara modernism. Its lacy entrance gates resemble butterfly wings. Originally, all rooms were equipped with electric lighting and telephone. From 1929 to 1941 it housed a kindergarten. The architect was Alexander Zelenko. Currently, the mansion hosts a museum exploring architecture and cultural heritage of regional modernism from late 19th century to early 20th century.
