Samara City History Museum named after M.D. Chelyshev

The Museum of the History of Samara named after M.D. Chelyshev is located on Frunze Street in Samara. It is dedicated to the history of the city from the time of founding the fortress until today. Among the museum's exhibits are honor roll books of distinguished citizens, the coat of arms of Samara, materials about Orthodox churches and Muslim muftis. There is also a gallery of mayors and governors of Samara created with involvement of the Samara Episcopal Administration of the Russian Orthodox Church.
