Holy Heart of Jesus Church

The Church of the Holy Heart of Jesus in Samara is located at Frunze Street, 157a. It is a neo-Gothic building in the shape of a cross designed by architect Alexander Shcherbachev based on a Polish architect Tomasz Bogdanowicz's project in 1902. The consecration took place in 1906. After being closed in the 1930s, the church was reopened for the Catholic community in 1991 and re-consecrated in 1996. The height of the towers is 47 meters.
