Eversky Convent

Iversky Convent in Samara was founded in 1860 on the site of a previously existing women's community. Here is venerated the Jerusalem Icon of the Mother of God. The monastery complex includes several churches and 17 buildings surrounded by a stone fence. Various craft workshops operated within the convent: gold embroidery, white sewing, weaving, carpet-making, binding and icon painting.
