Iversky Convent

Iversky Convent is situated on Volga Prospect in Samara. In 1930, the Assumption Cathedral was demolished, and previously a tall bell tower was destroyed. In 1994, the community regained its official status as a convent. Since 1993, worship services have been held in the church dedicated to the Jerusalem Icon of the Mother of God. In 2000, comprehensive restoration of the monastery began under the patronage of the regional administration.
