Frunze Museum House

The Mikhail Vasilevich Frunze House-Museum is located at Samara, Frunze Street, 114. This building is a rare example of preserved residential architecture from late 19th century city. Here, Mikhail Frunze lived approximately for a year after arriving in Samara on January 31, 1919. The museum's exhibition tells about events of the Civil War of 1918-1920, including anti-Soviet Chapan uprising behind the Eastern Front lines. The project of the building was designed by well-known Samara architect Alexander Shcherbachev.
