Stalin Bunker

Stalin Bunker in Samara is situated on Frunze Street, 167. Built under strict secrecy, it is a deeply buried structure resembling Moscow's Metro station "Aeroport". The complex has a height comparable to twelve floors. Originally intended as an alternate command post for Supreme Commander I.V. Stalin. Access is available after declassification where visitors can see the meeting hall designed for top-ranking officials' work. A staircase with 192 steps leads downwards. Construction took place from February to October 1942.
