Stalin's Bunker

Stalin Bunker located at Frunze Street, 167 in Samara is a unique historical site. Built during World War II in 1942, it served as shelter for city leadership which was considered an alternate capital of the country. Today, the bunker is open to visitors and operates as a civil defense museum. The depth of the object is about 37 meters equivalent to the height of a twelve-story building. Currently, the building that housed the bunker accommodates Samara State Institute of Culture.
