The Pyotr and Paul Cathedral is located in Saint Pyotrsburg, within the Pyotr and Paul Fortress. It was founded in 1703 and built from 1712 to 1733 under the supervision of architect Domenico Trezzini. This is a Russian Orthodox church and burial site for Russian emperors. A distinctive feature of the cathedral is its high bell tower—122.5 meters tall.
