Saint Catherine's Basilica

Basilica of Saint Catherine of Alexandria - the only Catholic church in Russia with the honorary title of minor basilica. Located on Nevsky Prospect in St. Pyotrsburg. The temple has a rich history: opened in the 18th century by Franciscans, then transferred to Jesuits and Dominicans. After closing in 1938 it was restored in 2003. Regularly services take place here, and the parish choir participates in music festivals. At the temple venerated saints Zygmunt Felinski, Ursula Ledhouska and Blessed Antonius Leszewicz are honored.
