Uspensky Cathedral

Ryazan, kremlin

The Uspensky Cathedral in Ryazan Kremlin was built between 1693 and 1699 by architect Yakov Bukhovtsev. This architectural structure became a symbol of the city thanks to unique white stone carvings in the style of Naryshkin Baroque. Special attention is drawn to the high iconostas of the cathedral, considered one of the largest in Russia.
