Ryazan Regional Drama Theatre

Ryazan Regional Drama Theatre - one of Russia's oldest theaters founded in 1787, its current building situated on Theatre Square and constructed in 1961 according to a unique design. It was here where famous figures such as Erast Garin, Anatoly Efros and Vladimir Gilyarovsky began their creative careers. The theater is noted for receiving the Order "Badge of Honour" and is associated with poet Gavriil Derzhavin.
