Ryazan Museum of Travelers

Ryazan Travelers' Museum is situated at Lenina Street, 35 in Ryazan city. It features a permanent exhibition on the history of aviation, including an exhibit — the basket of the first Russian balloon that flew over the North Pole. The museum also hosts expeditions exploring connections between Ryazan residents and the exploration of Alaska, including studies via Dj-Dj Pass in Tian Shan and participation of staff members in Alaska expeditions. Among notable events is the installation of a bust of Pyotr Semenov-Tyan-Shansky on the Travelers' Alley in August 2014.
