Ryazan Art Museum I.P. Pozhalostin

Ryazan Art Museum named after I.P. Pozhalostin, founded in 1913, is situated in a monument of architecture of Russian classicism. The museum's collection comprises approximately 12 thousand works of national and Western European art represented by painting, graphics, sculpture and decorative-applied arts. The building constructed at the end of the XVIII - beginning of the XIX century previously served as accommodation for the Noble Pansion of the provincial male gymnasium since 1833.
