Post Street

Postovaya Street — the main pedestrian artery of Ryazan's historical center. After the 2014 restoration it acquired the appearance of "Ryazan Arbat". It was laid out according to the city's first general plan of 1780 and has maintained its regular layout since then. The central part of the street became pedestrianized in the XXI century. Monuments have been installed here, including those dedicated to Evpatii Kolovrat, as well as preserved merchant houses from the XIX century with stone facades designed according to model projects.
