Yevpatii Kolovrat Monument

At the Post Office Square in the center of Ryazan, there is a monument to Yevpatii Kolovrat, unveiled on October 18, 2007. The warrior is depicted riding a horse, his figure rises on red granite symbolizing the blood shed for the native land. Yevpatii Kolovrat has become a symbol of heroism and resilience of the ancient Ryazan inhabitants facing the enemy.
