Museum of Airborne Forces History

The Museum of the History of Airborne Troops is located in Ryazan on Margelova Square. Opened in 1972, it tells the story of airborne troops from their creation to present day. Exhibits are displayed in the historical building of the former spiritual seminary built in 1816. Among the exhibits there is a diorama "Airborne Desent Heroism under Vyazma" and a recreated office of General MargeⱩ, commander of the VDV. The building is a XIX century architectural monument.
