A.P. Chekhov Monument

Anton Pavlovich Chekhov's monument is located in Taganrog on Red Square since 1960. The sculpture by I.M. Rukavishnikov depicts a young writer sitting on a stone with a book in his hands. The monument was dedicated to the centenary of the classic Russian literature author's birth.
