Stone staircase in Taganrog connects city center with picturesque Pushkinskaya Embankment. Built in 1823 by merchant Gerasim Depaldo, it is also known as Depaldovskaya staircase. There is a viewing platform with view on Taganrog Bay and nearby there's Tchaikovsky's Cottage - popular tourist attraction. The staircase is an important sightseeing spot in Taganrog.
