Chekhov House

P. E. Chekhov's House is located in Taganrog at Roza Luxemburg Street, 77. It is the only private house of the Chekhov family in the city built by Pavel Yegoreyevich in 1874 with his last means. In the garden young Anton Chekhov first planted flowers. Now there is an exhibition "Taganrog and Chekhovs" telling about the history of the residents of the house which belongs to Taganrog Museum-Reserve. Nearby were a well, carriage house and small garden.
