Church of St. Basil on the Hill

The Church of Vasily on the Hill is situated in the center of Pskov on October Prospect. It was built in the traditions of Pskovskoy stone architecture using limestone masonry and whitewashing. The temple belongs to an ancient parish and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site monument. The building combines architectural elements of medieval times and post-war restoration. The church is consecrated in honor of Saint Bishop Vasiliy Velikiy and includes a traditional for Pskov temple volume and bell tower.
