Church of the Dormition from Polonitsa

The Church of Dormition on Polonitsa is located in the historical center of Pskov on Georgievskaya Street. It is a monument of ancient Pskov architecture built according to local stone construction traditions using limestone slabs and whitewash. The temple belongs to parishes outside the Krom and is connected with nearby merchant and craftsmen buildings of the Okolnyy city. The church is dedicated to the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary and named after the locality Polonitsa.
