Church of Pokrov and Rozhdestvo from Prolom

The Church of Protection and Nativity of Our Lady is situated on Sverdlova Street in Pskov. It is a monument of Pskov stone architecture of the 15th-16th centuries linked to the city's defense during the siege by Stephen Batory. The site is part of the ensemble of UNESCO's international cultural heritage. The temple consists of two parts: Protection and Nativity, united by a single architectural composition. The place is associated with the historical landscape of the south-western part of Pskov Fortress.
