Mikhail Archangel Church with Bell Tower
Псков, ул. Советская, 18
The Stone Church of Archangel Mikhail with a bell tower in Pskov was built in the 14th century and later reconstructed in the 17th century. After a long break, the first service took place here in July 1995. The iconostasis was restored by craftsmen from Moscow, Tver and Pskov. At the beginning of the 20th century, the church briefly became the main cathedral of the city. It was included in UNESCO's World Heritage List in 2019. Previously, Lenin Street was called Arkhangelskaya in honor of this church.
