Tsar's Chapel of the Resurrection of Christ

The Chapel of Christ's Resurrection, opened in July 2003, is situated on Pskov's Station Square. It was constructed to commemorate Nikolay II's abdication and consecrated on July 17th of the same year. A sign on the chapel reminds visitors of the event on March 2 (March 15 according to the Gregorian calendar) 1917. The site honors the city's 1100th anniversary and serves as a memorial related to the railway station where the royal train stopped.
