Псков, Мирожская набережная, 2
Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral in Mirsky Monastery located on the bank of River Velikaya in Pskov is famous for its unique 12th-century frescoes considered unmatched in Russian painting at that time. It is one of few surviving pre-Mongolian churches of Pskov region together with Mirsky Monastery. In 2019, the site was included in UNESCO's World Heritage List. The cathedral has an unusual architecture: a low building with three helmet-shaped domes. Today, the church is open to believers and tourists.
