Bogoroditsky Cathedral Snetogor Monastery

Bogoroditskaya Cathedral of Christmas, situated on Snyatnaya Gora Street in Pskov, is renowned for its unique fragments of frescoes from the first half of the XIV century, which represent a rare example of ancient Russian monumental painting. These decorations belong to the Pskov art school. The temple was included in UNESCO's World Heritage List in 2019 and serves as the main cathedral of the monastery, which has suffered numerous times due to wars and fires.
