Pskov Kremlin (Krom)

Pskov Kremlin, or Krom, is situated in the city center and serves as its historical core. Its fortress walls, rising up to 6-8 meters high, protect an area of about 3.5 hectares, extending to 5 hectares including Dovmont's town. Inside is the Prikaznaya palata with exhibits on regional administrative structure from the 17th-18th centuries. From the viewing platform in the Vlaskovskaya tower there is a panoramic view of Pskov. The Kremlin also hosts organized historical tours conducted by the Pskovo-Pyotrovski Museum-Reserve.
