T-34 Tank Monument

In Pskov's Victory Park stands a tank monument-T-34 raised on a high pedestal. It symbolizes the city's liberation in 1944 by the 3rd Baltic Front forces. The tank was chosen as a symbol of the armored troops involved in fighting for Pskov. Nearby is a section of River Velikaya associated with its crossing during combat operations. Regular commemorative events with flower wreath laying take place here. The monument has become the main element of the park's memorial complex.
