Pushkin Summer Garden

The Summer Garden named after A.S. Pushkin is situated in Pskov's historical center on the site of former bastions. The garden received its current name after the 1917 revolution. Previously it was called Sergievsky Garden. In 1899, the centennial of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin's birth was celebrated here. During World War II, the garden suffered severely and was almost completely destroyed. Today it is part of the city's cultural and recreation park named after the great poet.
