Summer Garden named after A.S. Pushkin

Summer Garden named after A.S. Pushkin is located in the center of Pskov, near October Avenue. Founded in 1875 as Sergiyevsky, it currently carries the name of the renowned poet. Each year, Pushkin Poetry Festivals and various city events are held here. Within the grounds stands the monument "Pushkin and Peasant Woman" (1983), whereas formerly there existed defensive moats and bastions. The garden is also noted for its Green Cinema accommodating 4500 people.
