Russian Proverb Chest Sculptural Composition

In Penza, in the "Proverb Copilock" garden, there is a bronze sculptural composition called "Chest of Russian Folk Sayings". Its height is about 2.5 meters. In the center of the composition, there is an artilleryman named Ivan Lachinov with two keys: for the city and for the chest. On four sides of the composition, there are reliefs with Russian proverbs, the central one saying "Boldness takes the town." The work was created by Penza sculptor Valery Kuznetsov. The opening took place in 2010.
