Victory Square

Victory Square in Penza is situated near Prospekt Pobedy and serves as the city's memorial space. A Monument to Military and Labor Glory of Penzenskies residents was installed here, opened in 1975, along with an Eternal Flame. Adjacent to the memorial is Archangel Mikhail's Chapel built in 2000. Annually, ceremonial events and flower layings take place on the square during commemorative days.
