Penza Regional Puppet Theatre "Puppet House"

Penza Regional Puppet Theatre "Puppet House" was founded in December 1942 as a puppet brigade under the defense miniature theatre. It officially opened in May 1943. Since then, the theater has changed addresses several times: initially it was located at Moskovskaya, 7, then moved to Moskovskaya, 1, later settled on Moskovskaya, 17. Today it is situated at Chkalova Street, 35. This is the only professional children's theatre in Penza region, whose repertoire is aimed at audiences of different ages. The theatre has been awarded prestigious prize "Golden Mask" multiple times.
