V. G. Belinsky Monument

The monument to V.G. Belinsky was installed in Penza on Teatralnyy Prospekt. It is made of grey granite and features a bronze figure of the writer standing 5.5 meters tall. The authorship belongs to sculptor Evgeniy Vuchitchev and architect Leonid Polyakov. The opening took place on July 10th, 1954. On the pedestal there are the name of the author and his years of life: 1811-1848. The monument is an object of federal cultural heritage.
