First Settler Monument

The "First Settler" Monument in Penza is located on Kirova Street near the historical 17th century rampart. It symbolizes the first city residents combining images of a warrior and farmer. The observation deck by the sculpture allows to see eastern districts of Penza and the valley of Sura River. This is one of the most recognizable symbols of the city.
