Oka and Orlica Spearhead

Oky and Orlik Point - historical place in Orel where two rivers merge. This area is connected with the city's foundation in 1566 by Ivan the Terrible's decree. Now there is a memorial garden with commemorative objects here. The point is also known for its picturesque views and is an important historical spot of the city. It is believed that the construction of the fortress Orel began exactly here.
