Ermolov Monument

In the center of the city of Orlov is located a monument to General Alexei Pyotrovich Ermolov. The memorial reminds us of his outstanding military career associated with the Fatherland and the Caucasus. Born in Orlov, Ermolov became famous as a participant in the War of 1812 and the Caucasian command. Ermolov's Square adorns the central part of the city, becoming a place of memory and pride for the great native son.
