Omsk Cadet Corps Building

The building of Omsk Cadet Corps is situated at Lenina Street, 26 in Omsk. Established in 1813 as the Military Cossack School, it underwent numerous transformations: since 1846 it became Siberian Cadet Corps, and in 1913 received the title of First Siberian Emperor Alexander I Cadet Corps. Famous personalities such as Grigory Potanin, Chokan Valiakhanov and Dmitry Karbyshev studied here. The corps was revived in 1999 after disbanding the military school.
