Tar Gates

Tarskie Vorota — historical object associated with Omsk Fortress. Originally built in 1792, they were a quadrangular tower with an upward staircase. Restored in 1991 on the original site after demolition in 1959. The initial structure featured a gabled roof for rain protection. Part of the northern line of fortifications of the fortress.
