Омск, ул. Интернациональная, 12
The Holy-Dormition Cathedral is located at International Street, 12 in Omsk. After being destroyed in 1935, it was reconstructed in 2009 after starting work in 2007. Construction began in 1891 under the supervision of Emperor Nikolay II. The project was designed by architect Ernest Wirth, inspired by Moscow's Church of Vasily Blazhenny. The cathedral's main relic is the remains of the new martyr Silvester.
