Love Sculpture

The sculpture "Luba" is located on Lubi Street in Omsk. It depicts a girl in an elegant lace dress with a décolletage and crinoline, sitting on an ornate bench with a book. Made of stainless steel, this work is a symbol of the city and dedicated to Luba Gashford, the wife of the Governor-General of Siberia in the 19th century. The authors of the sculpture are architect I. Vakhitov and sculptor S. Noryshev. In honor of Luba Gashford, local street and park were named after her.
