Fire Lookout Tower

Watchtower in Omsk was built in 1915 according to the project of civilian engineer I.G. Khvorinov. Constructed from bricks based on the decision of Omsk city council in 1911. Until 1967 watchmen served on the observation deck. On the second floor there was an apartment for the fire chief, while below stood a steam fire hose. Since 1936 firefighters switched to cars.
