Slesarju Stepanychu Monument

The Slesar' Stepanych Monument is located in Omsk on Karl Liebknecht Street, 5. The sculpture was created by artists S. Noryshev and V. Vakhitov in 1998. The idea to build it belongs to the former mayor of the city V. Roshupkin, inspired by a similar sculpture in Slovakia. The monument depicts a plumber looking out from a manhole cover with a gas wrench, becoming one of the symbols and favorite photo spots for residents and visitors of the city.
