Omsk Rivermen Monument

The monument to Omsk River Pilots who died during World War II was installed in Vodnikov District, Omsk, in 1982. The project authors were architect G.E. Chirkin and sculptor A.A. Tsymbal. The memorial was created based on a competition for Kerch and commemorates the memory of river pilots who gave their lives for their motherland. The monument is part of the city's memorial complex reflecting the contribution of river transport during wartime.
