F.M. Dostoevsky Monument

The monument to Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky is installed in Omsk at the intersection of Spartakovskaya and Partizanskaya streets, near Tar's Gates and the building of the literary museum. The sculpture by A.N. Kapralov and architect Yu.A. Zakharov was opened on November 12, 2001. The composition is called "Bearing Cross". Special attention was paid to welding technology, which allowed to achieve portrait resemblance of the writer who spent four years here in Omsk prison.
