F.M. Dostoevsky Monument

In Omsk, at the intersection of Spartakovskaya and Partizanskaya streets, there is a monument to writer F.M. Dostoevsky. Created by sculptor A.N. Kapralov and architect Yu.A. Zakharov, it depicts the figure of Dostoevsky and was unveiled on November 12, 2001. The memorial is situated in the historical center of the city, between Tarskie Gates and the building of the literary museum, marking the site of his four-year exile in the Omsk fortress. The composition is named "Bearing Cross".
