Chokan Valiyanov Monument

The monument to scientist, educator and traveler Chokan Valykhanov is located in Omsk on his namesake street, which is a local pedestrian zone ("Omsk Arbat"). The opening took place on January 30, 2004 with participation of the Governor of Omsk region and delegation from Kazakhstan.
