K. A. Batyushkin Mansion

The Batyushkin family mansion, erected in 1902–1906 on the Irtysh embankment in Omsk, is presumably built according to the design of architect Iliodor Khvorinov. The building is executed in the eclectic style and in June 1918 served as the location of the Ministry of Supply of the Provisional Siberian Government. Currently, the Center for the Study of the Civil War History operates here, where archival documents and exhibitions about the events of 1917–1922 in eastern Russia are presented. In 1987, after restoration, the building was used as the Wedding Palace.
