Omsk M.A. Vrubel Museum of Fine Arts

Omsk Museum of Fine Arts named after M.A. Vrubel is located on Lenina Street, 3. It was founded as an art gallery attached to the West Siberian Regional Museum in December 1924. Since 1940 it has had a status of a state institution. Today its collection includes over 30 thousand works of painting, graphics, sculpture, decorative-applied arts, archaeological items, rare books and documents. Exhibitions, lectures and studio sessions take place here, along with thematic evenings. Special attention is drawn to the collection of archaeological gold from Omsk's Priirtyshya region of late 1980s.
