Omsk State Literary Museum named after F.M. Dostoevsky is situated in the historical building of Komendants' House built in 1799. It features a permanent exhibition "Dostoevsky and Siberia" opened in the 1980s as well as the second stationary display about writers from Omsk region created in mid-2000s. The museum was inaugurated on January 28, 1983 and honors not only Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky but also other authors who ended up in Siberia including Alexander Radishchev.
