Omsk State Literary Museum named after F.M. Dostoevsky is located in the historical building of Comенданt's House built in 1799. It features a permanent exhibition "Dostoevsky and Siberia" opened in the 1980s, as well as the second stationary exhibit about writers from Omsk region created in mid-2000s. The museum was opened on January 28, 1983 and dedicated not only to Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky but also to other authors who ended up in Siberia including Alexander Radishchev.
