Omsk State Historical and Local Lore Museum

Omsk State Historical and Local Lore Museum is located on Lenina Street in the center of Omsk. Founded in 1957, it is a building in Stalinist Baroque style. The museum houses a rich collection of exhibits on history, ethnography and regional nature of the Irtysh River basin, including a unique collection of ancient jewelry from Scythian and Sarmatian burial mounds. It is one of the oldest museums in Siberia.
