Omsk State Regional Library named after A. S. Pushkin

The Omsk State Regional Scientific Library named after A.S. Pushkin is situated at Krasny Putej Street, 11. The library building, designed by architects Naritsyna and Zakharov, was opened in 1995 following the reconstruction of part of the city hall for the library. The total storage area of the fund amounts to 7,985.2 sq.m. The library provides 546 reader places, including 42 computer stations with internet access. The institution's history began with a decision by the Omsk City Duma on April 11, 1899. The reading room has been operating since January 21, 1907.
